Dr. Allan Shanin

Dr. Shanin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, then completed a General Practice Residency at New York Hospital of Queens, now NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where his training covered restorative and implant dentistry.

He completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Shanin practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His surgical training covered orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, oral pathology and reconstruction, TMJ disorders, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, dental implant surgery, anesthesia and IV sedation.
