Dr. Gabriel Hershman

Dr. Hershman was raised in Cedarhurst, New York. He earned his B.S. at Lander College before attending the New York University College of Dentistry, where he was accepted with a full academic scholarship. He graduated with honors in 2009 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center from 2009 to 2013, where he served as chief resident. He trained alongside the anesthesiologists there and has extensive experience in intravenous anesthesia.

Dr. Hershman was trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery: corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, pathology and reconstruction, dento-alveolar surgery, wisdom teeth removal, and dental implants.

He is an attending surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai, and NYU Langone Medical Center.

Dr. Hershman has introduced an entirely digital workflow for implant placement. An intraoral scanner replaces conventional impressions, each implant is planned in CAD software, and a patient-specific surgical guide is printed in-house within hours.

Every implant position is settled before the procedure begins, so what is planned on screen is what is carried out in surgery.
