With more than four decades of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Dwight Hershman has built a career defined by surgical expertise, clinical judgment, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care. His approach to surgery and the relationships he has built with patients have established the foundation upon which LOMS continues to grow.
A Brooklyn native, Dr. Hershman earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He went on to complete a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann Medical University in 1980.
Since beginning his practice in Brooklyn, Dr. Hershman has provided comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, and oral pathology. He remains committed to continuing education and advances in surgical techniques, bringing decades of experience and an enduring dedication to his patients.
Dr. Hershman is married to his wife, Michelle. They have three married children and multiple grandchildren.
